Volunteering at My Joyful Heart

We lived this mission statement by volunteering at My Joyful Heart. This is a program for underprivileged children generally between the ages of 5-13 and in some cases infants and young adults who are disabled. It’s concentration is Chicago, IL and it’s south suburbs.
CTO Enterprises believes in giving back to the community. A group of us visited this mission to volunteer
It was 95o that day with no breeze in the warehouse where we were working and sweating even though there were fans going. We worked for about 2-3 hours sorting clothes, school supples and whatever else needed doing.
For me personally, it was new and awesome experience. Diane Carroll is an amazing and selfless woman.
